The Cold Smoke Drags are presented by the Burns Lake Snowmobile Club. The races will be featuring: Octane Addictions Freestyle Aerial Stunt Show. Come on out and enjoy some spectacular drag racing and the awesome aerial freestyle shows. There will be a $1,500.00 prize for the "King Class" WINNER TAKES ALL, also there wil be a 50/50 draw, door prizes, and Octane Addiction helmet give-aways.

ENERGY NORTH PRESENTS: BURNS LAKE BIOMASS WORKSHOP (Burns Lake, from Feb 01, 2011 09:00 AM to Feb 02, 2011 04:00 PM)

The biomass workshop will give you the basic knowledge about about biomass and the advantages of forest management. It will outline different sustainable energy solutions and the sources of funding available. One of the goals of this workshop is to assist First Nations and small scale forestry operators in managing forested land.

Everyone is encouraged to participate by voicing your thoughts and ideas to this forum. The goals of the forum are for participants to be informed and feel empowered to influence change for the community of Burns Lake and area.
